Mom: But why would you want to sell from a ship? ;P. To me, it's just not worth all the bother it would create ;P.

I think it is no real need to show names - it makes it similar to stock exchange where many of shares are bought and sold without knowing real owners.

VS makes the point I would and Prof did (basically; we thought a lot of things through when we designed it), though much more eloquently than I could .

Can set up a market transaction. Buy something worthless for a lot and sell it back for a little, until the appropriate amount of credits have been transfered. Sure you can't buy "nothing" (equivalent to giveing credits away), but this accomplishes the same thing.

Free market can exist with or without identities. In the trading forum, you can trade with players who have to show their identities. In the market, trades are anonomous. If you prefer to only deal with specific players, use the trading forums or use PMs to set up trades. If you want to use the market, use it as it exists and stop trying to change it. There will be no identities there, just as with any standard commodities market or stock market in the world today. Identities are irrelevant when trading commodities, which is what these resources are.

Again You cannot trade for Credits in Trading Forumn uless you set up a Trading clan with a fictional clan leader where trading of credits would be posibbble as the password would be known to all.... say the password was trading, then the peoplewho wanted to trade all they had to do was join the clan trade the recs for credits then leave and go to their clan.... while in the trading clan the players would have an ironclan NAP that would last for 10 minutes after they left....

There are points for top players. The person with the most points in a clan of more than five members was the top player of the round, and did receive 1000 credits. As always, this was a player from LTC (which is really starting to annoy me, as I would like to see SOMEONE else win for a change).
