I se wher you are coming from but see where I am coming from. Before '48 there was no Israel, at least not for my great grandparents. So any offspring from people that were jewish were jewish. Being a jew is not only a matter of religion but a nationaltity as well at least when my great grand parents were around, I cannot call myself part Israeli because I forefathers never saw Israel. Now though after all these years we do not call the nationality of Israel, Israelis unless we ar etalking about thier army or the supposed terrorists that they supposedly have, instead we say jewish.

Um sorry Mom Isreal is not only Jewish, while they may take the vast magority there are christians and Muslims in the country, in significant numbers as well

Once upon a time what you said was correct, everyone in a country was the same religion, cause if they weren't they were killed...

but it is not the same today, while Christians are in power in Britian, France etc... There are Vast amounts of Muslims in each country, not as many jews, due to the fact that Hilter while insane was very good at getting rid of them

Btw MoM calling them all jewish kinda makes that conflict a Holy war, but then not all lebannonish are Muslim

You cannot stereotype an entire population like this

Alpha its not the same thing with the nazis because nazism is a particular party and judaism is a religion. I was merely making the association that Jews did not have a definite homeland as the british, french ect. Therefore back when my grandparents were born people called them jews even though they werent from Israel or jewish in the sense of religion.

As you say it is a religion

Isreal was a REFUGE for the Jews, it does not make it a country of jews, those countries you meantioned, France and Britian didn't want the Jews, and the americans definatly didn't want them, so they made isreal instead

Now it is a multicultural country, prodominatly Jewish but not wholely.
