"harbors terrorists and fails to take actions to curb them"
-I think you should do a little more research into exactly what Hezbollah are try wikipedea

I dont think this is anyway related to the holocaust, and sincerely doubt iran or anyone else involved have ever contested the fact, or claimed jews to be sub-human.

as for the rest of your argument, well its just a lot of nonsence aint it. a rediculous hypothetical situation, that bears no relevance. Though I'd like to remind you that Im from northern ireland...

might do you good to remember that SL is a game! I wouldnt obliterate planets in real life either!

Lebanon is taking actions t oeradicate its terrorists group that is living within, um you need to do more research. I highly doubt that Israel would attack and occupy a country and use millions of resources to eradicate Hezbollah if Lebanon was already doing it. Come on now Interiority you have more sense then that.

As for for the anti jewixh sentiment in the area, that has everything to do with the situation, dont play a moron and act like the enviornment doesnt affect the specimen. Iran and Palestine are two of the most forward countries in the UN calling for a ceasefire and a wiping out of Israel, trust me this has everything to do with the situation.

as for this game being a game, yuo are completely right, but you do attack back when you are attacked and thats the point I was trying to get across, I guess the simple analogy went over your head.

see, you didnt even bother to look, did you? Hezbollah are more than 'terrorsits' in fact only a few people call them so. They are also a legitimate poilitcal group, and provide social services. "Hezbollah did everything that a government should do, from collecting the garbage to running hospitals and repairing schools." CNN. "Hezbollah's secret weapon", 2006-07-25

"Hezbollah not only has armed and political wings - it also boasts an extensive social development programme. The group currently operates at least four hospitals, 12 clinics, 12 schools and two agricultural centres that provide farmers with technical assistance and training. It also has an environmental department and an extensive social assistance programme. Medical care is also cheaper than in most of the country's private hospitals and free for Hezbollah members." LEBANON: The many hands and faces of Hezbollah, irinnews.org [thats UN news to you and me]

so why would lebanon be trying to rid themselves of this? - that was my point. if you'd looked like i suggested you might have understood. but instead you just rattled off some ill prepared attack on my intellegence, by trying to put words in my mouth.

beign anti-jew is different to denying the holocaust. being anti-jew is different to being anti-zionist. specimen? what you on about now? "Iran and Palestine are two of the most forward countries in the UN calling for a ceasefire and a wiping out of Israel, trust me this has everything to do with the situation. " im sorry, but does this even make sence? and can you get me the sources for your information (i hope you appreciate my willingness to share mine ;)). Im especially interested in Iran and palestines joint resolution on "a ceasefire and a wiping out of Israel"

the analogy didnt go over my head. dont try to imply im stupid because you think that a resistance group opposed to occupation and attacking an invader is similar to some random gunman deciding that my family has no right to live and starting to shoot them one by one.

seriously dude, think before you speak

[and there I was thinking me and Rhyfelwr were seeing eye to eye, and were about to sort the whole mess out for them...]

Hezbollah have done alot of good for Lebanonne...

they have helped build the country back

however there are another political group that did this...

I'll leave you to guess this group...

MoM, I agree in some of your words, but interiority has some wise words as well

The simple fact, Isreal is protecting itself, unfortinatly it is between soooooo many states that want to kill it..., Isreal have no choice...

They have the right to protect themselves, NO ONE CAN ARGUE THIS

Unfortinatly isreal have had to use force to excert this, Iran have said for 30 years isreal have no right to be on the planet, and yet the chickens have NEVER met Isreal in combat, instead they feul the fires of Hezbollah and Palistine...

Equip them with rockets and let them attack isreal, i would not be at all suprised if Hezbollah's attack that started this confilict was started by Iran...

http://www.nysun.com/article/37347

Fifth paragraph. For the wiping out of Israel bit. I mean I thought that was common knowledge. It also asserts that Iran is backing Hezbollah.

The fact of the matter is that, if a country is backing an organization that uses terrorism as a means of business there is no amount of "hospital building" that it can do to neagate it.

"beign anti-jew is different to denying the holocaust."-- we all have grammatical errorsand especially because we are talking about a well heated subject and we want to get wat we have to say out as fast as possible, dont jump on mine and I wont jump on yours. ;)

"the analogy didnt go over my head. dont try to imply im stupid because you think that a resistance group opposed to occupation and attacking an invader is similar to some random gunman deciding that my family has no right to live and starting to shoot them one by one. "

The last I remember Israel was not occupying Lebanon before thier soldiers went missing but if you can give me veritable proof of that I will gladly shut up.

THis is Neggy not MoM, just so everyone knows who has been posting this.

"one man's freedom fighter is another man.s terrorist" ---- Bull****.

A fighter is a man with an army, a man who fights. Not a man who blows himself up and hides behind little children of the same country they are 'defending.' They found a retarded boy strapped with bombs ready to kill Israeli soldiers, a retarded boy. I am not saying Israel is perfect but compared to some of these radical Islamic countries I can might as well say so.

Sorry MoM or neggy being american you can't ever say that statement is bull

Secondly being british i cannot either

Terrorist is a word used by the ones in power to try and make the population fear the freedom fighters

American Civil War - Both sides thought they were right, both sides, called each other wrong, and I highly doupt they weren't called Terrorists by both sides

Tecnically, going on the word Terrorist....

All special forces are Terrorists, all assiasins...

The word Terrorist needs to be saved for organisations like Al- whatever and Hezbollah

btw i heard that Hezbollah's number of troops have been estimated at 100 thousand across 3 countries, that is a Big army, they are also well equip and in their own right an army, unlike "Terrorist" organisations they are not afraid to fight the countries army, they are Terrorising...

And bombing a city like they are.... how is that sooo different from what Britian, America, Germany and japan did in the second world war

To quote a phrase

"All is fair in love and war"

"I am not saying Israel is perfect but compared to some of these radical Islamic countries I can might as well say so."

I doubt that the entire populations of these countries(which you havent specified) is guilty for the actions of a few murderous thugs or even support their actions.

I also think that almost all acts in war are terrorist acts. No matter which side purpertrates it or their cause.

Isreal has a right to defend itself from attacks. Reciprocal attacks would be that right. Invasion is entirely different. Of course being american and supporting the Iraq finasco I can't honestly say that with a straight face. I know that I'm a hypocrit. It sucks but I see america's long range good coming from better control of oil production and the half encirclement of Iran, It will be long and bloody, and most of the blood will not be our own. This is what seeing the big picture is all about you can see why 2+2 can be made to =5 as long as 5 is what is needed. It is not always pretty or fair or Just but you can see a better long term gain for short term pain. Hopefully America can stomach seeing this through or it will be all for naught......

Any way, We can only hope that Isreal will eventually give up the ground that they are taking in this latest Self Defense Invasion. The last time with the Golan Heights were over a decade and we are still waiting for them to Leave the West Bank/Gaza which they occupy and are actively trying to annex. If you follow any of this and have maps of where the settlemants are located, Isreal has encircled/isolated the palistinians with JEW only settlement on the high grounds and special isreali only access roads split up and divide the palistinian controlled areas. Isreal is actively destroying their homes and stealing their lands and prohibiting building of additional housing. It is impossible to live or work there and there is no access to the outside except through checkpoints. Many of the restricted/living areas are in lockdown more than half of the year and unemployment runs around 60%. Alot of the self defense attacks Isreal deals out is becasue troops in the occupied regions come under fire. No Sh!t. If They came to my town, stole my land, knocked down my house and laid mine where my children played, I'd be pissed to. Does this excuse religious fanatics for blowing up civilians, no.

When the Germans were isolating and destroying the Jewish Ghetto's we stepped up ( belatedly )and gave them an area to have as there own, We didn't want them and they had to go somewhere...Of course the land we gave them wasn't ours, but we gave it to them any way. Now the Jews, persecuting people because of their beliefs, are proving to be no better than the germans Nazi's of WWII. Ironic. Any way in a world view sense, they are America's best allie in the region and buy all their big weapons from us so we have to support them. Yeah, Go Isreal. Your victories help support America. B) Sorry I just get so pissy because its so hard to keep abreast of what is really going on in the world. US publications are about useless half of the time or downplay important things. ANd because I keep abreast I spin my wheels with locals who can't find canada on a map and don't follow the Macro economical/political concequences of world events. The only reason most ammericans have any idea that thing are going on is because theyr see gas prices increasing and thing that it has to be something in the middle east..Unfortunately most of our oil comes from central/south america, any way I gotta go drink some more.... Went out with my wife and her friend who doesn't read the newspapers or watch the news, has aparently slept through all of her histroy and geography classes and has strongly held views based upon ........ I dunno, she doesn't either. but I aparently have no idea, and am obviously wrong. The worst part is that facts and historical references are second to "wishes" and "dreams" Neeed more Beer.......

http://www.palestinecenter.org/cpap/maps/settle_westbank.html

Better map..... White road are the access road where the palistians cannot cross without papers...
http://www.palestinecenter.org/cpap/maps/peace_david2.htmll

1979......22 March.......The United Nations Security Council adopts resolution 446, which demands that Israel dismantle the settlements in the Occupied Territories.

for interiority:
Are you a Democrat? The reason I ask is b/c only a democrat would think in such an idiotic way. Hezbollah is a Terrorist group. They are mostly if not all muslims (I do not hate muslims) IN the Koran it states that the infidel must die (not in exact words) who do the muslims say the "infidel" is? All Jews and Christians! You are right when you say that Isreal has negotiated with terrorists because they have. for years they have tried to appease them with land. That didn't work. Do you know why? It's simply because They are not after land, money or converts to their religion, they want Jews and Christians dead! The leader of Hezbollah is quoted saying that Their goal is not to gain land but to kill the infidel! I am sick and tired of people defending these terroists. They are not freedom fighters they are Terroists. Most of Europe thinks a cease fire will be the answer to everything, but what cease fires really are is just a time out that allows Hezbollah and other terrorists to rearm and prepare. Nothing will stop these people from fighting until one side is dead. Iran is just laughing at Europe b/c they know that if the UN puts sanctions on Iran (for helping Hezbollah) then they will just raise oil prices. They have the upper hand and until they get their chairs kicked out from underneath them they will continue their so called "holy" war.
