Netherlands-Good side, but not brilliant as in Brazil, France, Germany.

Trust me, those rankings don't show anything about good sides.

The rankings are based on wins in games in competitive circumstances. USA plays teams more from their side of the world, especially Caribean sides. Therefore they tend to get a lot more wins than England because A) there are more games and the opposition is less of a test.

The qualifying groups and general competition over in the American side of the continent is far less, perhaps only Brazil and Argentina could be considered quality sides.

I hope you remember Dogg, that last year, England came to America and played 3 games, one with a B team and 2 with the first team, the smallest scoreline was 2-0 England and England won all three games

Dios rankings show US is better and theres no way you can argue rankings. I'm also routing for portugal and brazil, both those teams are better than england as well
And its soccer not football.

American Football is a distortion of the english game Rugby. Rankings are based unfairly, and watupdogg, the US don't have a single flair or star player to speak of at all; in the European Leagues players go from country to country on a regular basis; there are several teams that have virtually no players from their own country (Real Madrid, Arsenal).

And in any case, football is the universal name of the beautiful game (and most popular). Compare Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney, Ronaldhinio, Ronaldo with the American strikers, and there's just no competition. No offence watupdogg, but these players are millionaires; football is virtually a religion in Europe.

Aaah, he's an ignorant American, dw, there are a fair few like him (no offence most people here )

To quote Dead Ringers:

Oh and Watupdogg, ask anyone, England would all over the US at football. I've heard of only two american players; Brad Friedel, a washed up goal keeper and Tim Howard; goal keeper dropped by Manchester United because he was awful.

There are plenty of ways I can argue with the rankings, look at recent performance ratings, competition history etc.. etc.., England have always outperformed America in every sport except the atheletics
