Then how about periodic resets? Like every 6 months or something?

I personally think we should get a reset. Even if i am a noob i have played for a couple months but been defeated over n over, the reset WILL give other ppl time to rise up. but during the first month or so during the new round the original system of a player should not be allowed to be destroyed, just incase someone just sits there waiting to kill u. but all other planets captured should be open game.

No way I would support a game where the original system could not be captured. I would not play. No risk, no reward. You can always restart or wait a month to get new planets.

Yes, I agree that periodic resets would tend to keep the game more dynamic. However, the scores and points should be maintained. It is not fair to DarkViper and Chaos and Hope and others with great statistics that they have worked hard for to have to lose their points.

Starting over from new world with nothing and no bank, that would be a fair challenge for them. The competition would be on a level playing field with high risks but high opportunities, and diplomacy and relationships might become much more important in that case.

I didn't mean not be able to catch it for ever, just not for the first little while just so the ppl that first get in wont just kick ur ass.

Why not a reset every round, with no immunity for anyone? A free for all, fast and furious.
