MT, but they have one of the ppl funding him and that what counts. They have also made huge steps in catching high ranking Terrorist officials so that is good. Who caught Saddamn Hussein, was it not a soldier?

but saddam hussein was not a terrorist. saddam hussein was the dictator of a sobergn nation... he might be an evil dictator but That did not give the U.S. the jurisdiction to take him out of power. |

exactly, plus, its been shown that Saddam didnt have any actual ties to bin Laden, they met once and hated each other, bin Laden cause saddam led a secular government, which is why Christians werent persecuted, and saddam hated bin laden because bin laden classified him as in be with the infidels who would do away with islamic fundamentalist rule, and mt is right, dictatorships arent illegal, and neither is wmd, the only reasons its illegal for iraq is cause of un sanctions, plus the only wmd that iraq has ever had were the wmd we gave them in the 80's to fight iran, since then theres has been no conclusive evidence of wmd and iraq was not the most friendly nation toward terrorists. If we wanted t really make the world safer we would have invaded Saudi Arabia, 15 of the 19 terrorists on 9/11 were saudi, none iraqi, Saudi Aarbia is a monarchy that publicly beheads its citizens and tortures then just as bad as was done in Iraq, Saudi Arabia but Saudi Arabia has done little more then small short term things to counteract this with no real results

I agree with the last 5 posts bush does have economic ties but in every family there is a bad seed the seed being bin laden. Now about the Saddam CIA intelligence showed that Saddam did give some money to the TERRORISTS. This qualifies as being in league with the Terrorists. also Saddam was on our nations most wanted lists for years now so technically we had legal right to hunt him. Saudia Arabia as I stated before is a trickier nation to handle because we get most of our oil from that nation. We cant just invade it or tell it to do anything because then the oil prices go up and the american citizens suffer.
