Skylark, I have decided to give up on trying to persuade you of the error of your ways. Instead, I am just selling vital and you can buy it and convert it to troops for me if you want.

I had a bunch of the stuff just sitting arround (it gets produced by hydroponic farms on planets, and since I make more now producing iron for sale, to use in buying troops, I have not been using it recently).

So, buy my vital, or trade for it, and you will at least not lose money since I am selling vital at LESS than half the cost of T. I can't be bothered with conversion to T, since I have iron to make with my production points now.

OK for example you have a planet and if you set vital and troops both to 5x you can produce 100k troops a day.
Profit: +100k troops

Or you can buy 200k vital for 100k troops, set production to 10x troops, and produce 200k troops in the same time.
Profit: 200k troops - 100k troops used to buy = 100k troops.

Yes but logically by spending the 100k troops to buy the vital you may as well not bothered as it would take the same time to gather just troops than troops, vital then troops again

Besides, regardless of times troops are needed, you're going to pay as little as possible. You're telling me that if troops were on the market for 28 cpu and 50 cpu, you would buy the 50 cpu because you need troops now but the 28cpu because you'll need them later?
