Today we see nothing but darkness. I see war growing on us like a disease that can't be cured. I heard earlier on the news that talks had once again broken down between us and the Lt Confederation. Peace is looking less and less likely as every day goes by. Ah well I guess that I should get some sleep, I've been worrying about it for far too long.

Entry-921

New orders came in today. I am to move my squadron with the 19th Legionary assault group to sector 9. Looks like something is going to be going down their soon. It’s a hassle having to move my children around like this, I suppose it gives them a wide range of experiences.

We arrived and I was surprised, very surprised. Looks like a large amount of protection for one small base. We have enough fire power in this fleet to hold our own against some of the hardest ships in the cosmos.

We were briefed today by the Emperor himself, looks like this is going to be a high priority protection mission. Sounds to me as a last resort base in the case of a disaster, I don’t see why I can’t fight at the front though then. The fleet stashed here could defend the capital if need be.
