I've been playing SL since qround 2005 and 2006. In that time, I've developed quite a few useful tools. I've decided I'm going to share my tools with the rest of the community. I'm sure most of the veterans have developed their own similar tools, so I guess this is mostly for noobies.
These tools will have to be altered so the rest of you can use them, so I'll be releasing them as they are ready.
The first tool is my i flight calculator. There's a destination coordinate and a list of ofher coordinates and their respective distances, travel times and uranium costs for each speed(except drift. I've literally never used drift)This way you can find out which ship or planet is closest to your destination, and save yourself a lot of time and eliminate the guesswork.
I used google sheets for this one, so heres a link. It isn't editable, so make a copy(file ->make a copy). And then you can add all of your coordinates.
The next tool that i will release will be my random coordinate generator for randomly probing. It saves the coordinates that it generates and will never generate a coordinate within the range of another generated coordinate. As soon as I have altered this tool for mass use, i will release it. I know this tool doesnt sound super useful, but I do get hits about 30% of the time, so it isn't too bad.
If you have any ideas for useful tools that i can code (php/c#/asp.net/js etc...), let me know and I'll see what i can do.
