So, I've planned for some time now to update the server to PHP 7. With the news backup script misbehaving, I decided now was as good a time as any. Please let us (me, Will, Zero) know if you find anything broken (which normally would work), and I'll fix it ASAP. This is a big and important step towards getting updates moving again, and I'm frankly pretty excited that it's finally been done (and works! yay! ) .
