Who would be in favor of increasing assaults experience limit to 300%?

This would allow a ship to do 2M damage for a total cost of about 1.85M + the 500k Iron which at 2:1 would make it about 2.1M cost for 2M damage, compared to the current 1.9M cost for 1.5M damage.

Note this is assaults only in order to balance their cost somewhat. Prefer to not have fighters and trannys changed since I think they are pretty evenly balanced.

As a player who remember the 2500k assualts (and what a pain it was to train them) I think increasing to 300% is fine.. it does however lower the value of Iron

I am nuteral on this subject. If there is a change it makes planets easier to take, and harder to defend. One offsets the other.

After additional thought, yes. The current values are out of date!
Many perameters and changes were made in an arbirary manner in the past which need to be rethought and changed.
This is one of them!

i also remember the 2500% assualts and the heart break of crashing them at 2499 wen u only got 1xp per capture regardless of defense lol i lost 4 assualts at 2499% or atleast over 2450%

personally i would like 300%

It's easier to divide SS's 100m HW into 2m than it is 1.5m ;)

I agree in principle, but now the relative difference in cost between trained and untrained is about 400k troops. (in terms of building, training and using), I'd be open into looking at whether 350% increases this as I think there should be greater benefit in having trained assaults then there is currently due to the ease of producing untrained assaults.

If it lowers the value of iron, that is not a bad thing. Iron is the most easily produced resource in the game given it's double production value, so why would it be a bad thing for iron to be the least valued resource in the game? Yes, it has a high usage rate, but ultimately does that change the fact that as it is so easy to produce, using it as the base material for an attack should be less beneficial than using it as a secondary (i.e trained assaults)? No, of course not.

When I have a less full program, I'll look into the 350/400% assaults and see how the numbers run, but I think the relative difference between the two needs to approach 750k to make the game more balanced in terms of original production ability.

For game development/change wise I definatley think this shouid be something that is worked on after the new player changes as this will partly tackle the attacking/defending issues there currenly is.

So what would we do with all the 200k assaults floating around? Upgrade them to 300% to save the hassle? :D
