@Slick: I am able, but it's an investment I'm hesitant to make due to the number of items that need to resolved first. On the other hand, waiting for the best could be a killer in and of itself. On the gripping hand, if they come and the quality doesn't hold enough of them, the money is lost to little avail.

agree ideally before thinking of major advertisment for the game it needs to b running correctly people only tend to remember the bad points more than the good points

Yes, definitely focus on repairing the game first. Doing so will bring more people to the game.

For example, the credit system on the home page isn't running 100% I do not believe. I think two of the links take you somewhere, but the websites don't have Skylords in their database. I'm not sure. I'd like to get more of those links, and more people voting... Or just ads on random pages that actually work, to bring revenue and conversely activity into the game.

That needs to be better training by player clans or new players reading through the new players forum to see how to break chains. Otherwise they're very nice targets.

We would love to have more players like you.
We mean we need more people to actually log in a second time. Most people log in, see the missions, get confused, and quit..

...we need a way to keep players coming back and actually show them how to grow, get them to join clans, etc. It's not a matter of veterans killing newbies, it's newbies not trying to play the game.

I'm very aware of the risk of boredom when you first start playing SL. Do you think new players should start with more resources then? To try and allay this problem? Make it easier to get to the planets and complete the missions easier? Personally I'm not sure that the game does enough for new players. I'm aware it does a lot more now than it ever usd to, but that doesn't mean we've yet found the correct formula.

Naturally. I suggest we eliminate the probing mission, and give them either the resources (100k of each) on their starting planet, or 50k Tranny and a 50k Assault from the start.
