Great stuff I don't think. I managed to get my planets up to 18 or so and now it's all been reset back to what I had a couple of weeks back. So how does this work out as no resources or production lost. 18 planets make a hell of a lot more than the 7 I'm left with now.

Yeah, why the reset? and why no warning? I spent ages finding coords for my clan mates, and now they're gone
as is my newly trained assaults, buildings, planets, points... coulda saved me the trouble

There were some seriuos troubles just before moving the server. I (then Smartfox and maybe someone else) lost all the upgrades and half of our hws went to spc. That was a bit strange since we lost those upgrades not at the same time and as i managed to see we both only.

Yes, in the few hours before the server migration, there were some problems.

As for notice, there was notice that a server migration was planned for mid January if the server speed did not improve. It did not improve, so the server was moved.

There was about six to eight hours of game play time lost from the time of the last server backup until the server problems forced a system crash and reset. Since I was mad at the old server for being slow anyway, it seemed like an excellent time to move the server since we would have had to do a reset for a few hours of game time anyway due to some problems which RBA and a few others experienced. As for the effects of server problem prior to the migration, it affected anyone who logged in during a period of a few hours during the problem, and that forced a system shut down due to these problems, which made rollback to the prior midnight backup necessary.

I think at one point it was just you, SB, virgelis and I online in the whole universe. Really annoyed that all the planets I captured during that time have now gone though.

I think those assaults were "lost" when someone "lost" a lot of defense on their HW.
