too bad religion exists in this world, rather that it be destroyed or that ppl kept it to themselves. Instead of trying to tell everyone that there religion is wrong and that there's is right and then massive wars start.


Interesting Sounds like something that is happened all over the world, past and present.

what if religion is just a way to explain the unexplainable?

thousands of years ago, there were gods for all kinds of things. Today, we have scientists (and weathermen) that explain how things work. The only thing they haven't been able to explain yet is what happens when you die (notice how most religions only have one god now?). What happens if one day they can explain that too?

One other thing to consider is that anytime you have a group of people who follow/believe/listen to a leader, that leader can use his power to pursuede the organization into doing something wrong, and do it in a way where the people feel justified in doing it. Unfortunately the principals of Christianity (and other religions) where you have a heaven and hell make this kind of manipulation a very powerful tool. We should not judge the beliefs of the people based on some bad decisions of the leaders.

It might be a better world without religion. Although probably people would find enough differences between them to cause bloodshed.
