1: Clan Coloring

2: Number of turrets showing on the Def screen* edit* On your defense screen so You know what you personally have

3: Ability to have a co-leader for clans that have the same power as the leader, ie your leader has comp problems and the clan is stuck in limbo....

4: Building that deconstructs ships for res

5: Player Classes, I.e. specializations that get in game bonuses

6: Ability to have the forums set up like the Pm screen for leaders and mods so that we can delete multiple topics at one time, Helps with Mtc....

7: Building screen should have what is being built and where...

8: Job Board on the clan site like the Market, where you cna post things to do with your acc and those with free time can do it and collect the res from you for things... :shrug: not sure that this is possible.....

9. Maybe we should thing about various Artifakts which will gives for us advantages in attack, deffence (planets or ships), or collecting resourses ;)

1. Images are done and code has been worked up, this should be fairly easy to finish
2. Can't be that easy, something harder, like your ship must remain at the planet for some hours, and it will show on intrusion, so you can find out inactive's info easily enough, but not active players maybe. I think more discussion is needed for this one.
3. This should be fairly easy, knowing how databases work, shouldn't take more than a day
4. still a cool idea, it only needs the ability to capture others ships...
5. This would help the game expand I think, give people other ways to play

8. This needs more explaining, do they automatically get res after doing certain things...? Yes it sounds hard if that is it, but could use code already in the newbie training...

10. Capturing other players ships - something like a time delay thing, you must remain in contact with the other ship for some hours, giving them time to escape. Also shown on intrusion. This would give another option to simply destroying ships found.
11. Non player that takes over sp and has 1-2 mil def planets and gives normal experience like the prof suggested.

The easy requests should be completed first, and they should not be taxing on the programmer undertaking them. I'm thinking a week at the most to complete those four would be enough. Don't let those part time programmers take too much money!

I think 8 Tarog is basically a private market that only the clan can access, but a little more than that again

Basically its like trading with your clan for resources, you can literally pick up troops, gold, uranium, right off an allies planet, if they allow it

Imagine a market, but you can make the resources free

I edited the option #2 it was basically meant so that you could see what defenses you had on the planet ...I.e.

Planet: example 1

......def..............Def Shield.......... troops............energy........ turrets.......... coords.............. planet id

Yes and the CLAn market would give limited access to the acc ( to be defined) allowing other clan members to do day to day stuff for you for a set res price.... Clan would have a market and the res would be listed next to the job and out of circulation just like the current market. We could maybe also have an ability to sell res in clan for credits or have the jobs be posted with a payment of res or credits...
Alot of what we could do will depend on how hard coding for this turns out to be....:shrug: easy upgrades should come first....

Upgradable clan levels sounds good, clan mates could donate res towards the clan upgrades, once the clan has 100mln of a res listed you can raise that gathering for the clan 1 pro point for that resource? there would have to be a limit also or this could get real ugly in a year or two....

1. No problem. Though there won't be an affect other than more colourful game. I reserve green ones :D

4. Against. The more mistakes cost the more interesting the game is.
5. Against. There's little common with specialization games in SL. This one really bad.
6. No problem.

8. No problem. I guess it's difficult enough though to be kept somewhere at the end of prefferences.
9. Artifacts are in Astrowars. We have upgrades in SL ;)
10. Interesting, but needs to be stated clearer. Stealing an empty ship that has 0 attack and deffence sounds logical enough. My vision: A new button could be placed on transports along with pirating. Capturing transport should eat all the attack of the victim. While deffence could mean hours needed to break into the ship. A notice on intrusion would be nice. If ships must be on the same space it's pretty risky. We'd have an option to attack ship to minimize its deffence or risk and capture a healthy one. Amount of gains and risk disturbing hw attack would increase pretty much. Assaults are easy to capture but they need to be pirated first. And then removed as well as transport. I'd vote for such thing if it's realistic.
11. Against. Better focus on improving warp competition.
12. No problem with clan levels, but basing them on resources would be a terrible thing. And no awards should be given. Could be simply based on rounds won.

Do not hestitate to critize my wish list when i make one :)

Eh... I love RPG, player classes would be cool :) I would like to have an "avatar", leader of your empire, that would actually mean something.


There was a discussion on clan levels, there could be advantages like:

- higher player cap
- second clan leader position
- junior clan
- clan HW/clan warp
- special ships for high lvl clans

Upgrades could be bought with resources... Or maybe, upgrades would be awarded for clan points.
Low lvl clans wouldn't be able to start a junior clan (well, this would need junior/senior clan relations added to game... like ability to visit each others forums, etc), wouldn't be able to have more than, say, 5 players? And so on.

And sorry for hi-jacking Bert's topic :D I would welcome all those changes. Only some, like job market, would probably be a bit hard to implement.
