i am currently putting together a new online multipplayer game.. abit like runescape/world of war craft.. with some help from friends.. and i was wondering if anyone new of any software or had any .. which cud be of use.. or even wud like to be a part of this project or any one who has any tips and suggestions which might help me in my path to makin a succeful game which young and older people wud enjpy and play.. im lookin to the professor, digiot,teledin and others who have experience ,, and other players with experiences..... plz post ur suggestions.. here..

Not to discourage you, but a single person and some friends creating a game like WoW?
A browser based game like Skylords (only turn based RPG instead of strategy), I think that would be doable, you'll probably need knowledge of PHP then.

No offense but WoW and runescape mixed together sounds like umm, bad.

you cant mix one good game and one game together and expect to get good results, however what do i know, i haven't played it.

Yea. i don't think runescape is a good game. the only thing good is the inventory system. WoW has the correct 3-D graphics for a good rpg. but mixed together and you have a complex game to make.

If your serious java is probably the easiest languegue to write in, although i suggest you do alot of research on language, also look for one like java which has a massive libary of functions to use
