Yes, what MoM said about "emos" always being depressed and wanting attention....i see more emos's "saying" and more "goths" doing.

The people that yell and always cry or have severe mood swings or threaten to do things to themselves AND mix one of the mentioned with suicide, they are subconsciously crying for help and/or attention. Rather they like it or not, it's true. I bet if I gave one of them a loaded shotgun when they were in their little "mood," they would think, cry and shake, sob, have a guilt trip, and eventually just drop the shotgun because they "just can't do it." If you are like this, GET HELP!

Anyway, you also have the people who actually want out, but don't want others to know about it. They are normal people, with several unknown problems. Maybe they are an honor-roll student, who is happy at home and has very few problems (ok...ok...maybe not, but you get my point). They would not bch about it, but instead get it over with. They would also act with blatant disregard for what society says is "wrong," because they generally believe that society shouldn't dictate their lives.

The ones that are giving away all of their stuff, asking the forgiveness from their mortal enemies, patching things up with everyone and everything that they possibly can, ...THESE are the serious ones...and doctors/help people give warnings to civilians to look for these signs before it's TOO LATE! These people will not whine about it or let it be known to anyone but those who will understand.

Now, you all know the general difference between "cry for help" and "dead serious."

I use to see preps at my school all the time. I've never seen so many people dress in such colors...or wear stylish spiked hair...maybe even a mohawk (mostly girls.)

Now we wear uniforms though...but at least the uniforms killed the "my cloths are better" conflict.

Man, I like Skylords but I hate hearing about experiences in high school. I didn't drop out to come online and hear about how uniforms destroyed popularity contests...

Speaking of which, I attended a college prep school which was K - 12th grade. I attended that school (SABIS International Charter School in Springfield, MA in USA) which required uniforms. I liked it but hated it. Arg. Enough.
