the formula is (troops + energy) * (1 + shield * .2)

professor ur current formula in the forums says that with 30 shields (20x plus generator) and max def res ( 16,777,215 troops and 16,777,215 energy) the most ur hw def could be was 150 mil... if thats so then how come if u do the math its 234,881,010? .... thats way more then 150 mil.... i know i got all my math right look...

(16,777,215 + 16,777,215 = 33,554,430) * (1 + 30x * .2 = 7)

33,554,430 * 7 = 234,881,010 .....

can u tell me why it is this high?

With 30x shields, IN JUNE, defense will be

(120M at 15M of T and E each)

Currently, maximum is 150M, as shields are limited to x20 and shields are /5, so

the current formula is (troops + energy) * (1 + shield * .2)

(16,777,215 + 16,777,215 = 33,554,430) * (1 + 20x * .2 = 5) = 167 million
(150M at 15M of T and E each)

arnt u able to have 30x shield right now? or that isnt till june? if it isnt till june then right now the max is 20x?

Don't worry to much about it. I doubt you are very close to the 16.7M T or E maximum yet.

x20 is maximum shields until June 1st, and shield formula change and maximum shield point increase will happen then on the same day.

Maximum production on a planet is 15M, but you can earn interest beyond that level, up to the maximum allowed by the resource character byte size, which is the 16.777.215 amount.

I would prefer to cap things at the 15M mark, but it was annoying to many players to do so, and I gave in on that one to allow people to reach the 16.7M maximum via interest income.

lol hey u never know.. ive been able to get almost 10 mil def in just 5 days of playin.... i still got more then double that amount of time worth of noob arena left plus ppl still gotta find me

Yes, it can be done with full planets fast and smart resource allocations.

This provides smart newbies with a reasonable chance of survival, as do also the improved training mission on various aspects of the game, including nearby button and probing ships.

heck yes.. at first i was mad that the noob arena was takin so long to do when i got back.... but after like the first day i realized i could use it to my advantage.. as it would allow me to produce as much as i wanted when i wanted without having to worry about having ppl attackin me...

Exactly. Glad you realized that. Look forward to seeing you in the real arena soon, and when you do get to the real arena, I strongly recommend upgrading planet limit to 50 and finding and capturing new planets fast to fill your potential capacity. The WARP should be helpful in finding new potential colonies to use to build up resources, and there are also many x20 planets in the battlezone (planets in the +/- 100 area from the galaxy center which can not be obliterated).
