in training mission 6 i go to planets, then home planet as directed, but can't seem to increase the attributes i.e. iron, vital & troops. I'm clicking on the + icon but nothing seems to be happening. Am I a bigger dumpling than I thought?...please help if you can...thanks.

I am working on Mission 11 - have an empire of six planets.

So I've probed, found and spied on my 4th planet, and now captured it.

But in the same area there are two other planets visible in space.

I've tried spying on the fifth and sixth planet, but I am told my spying has failed because I'm not near a planet although I can see the planets, and I moved to right on top of them.

I've tried assaulting the fifth planet, but I'm told my assault failed because I'm not near a planet, even though I've moved right on top of it.

Any solutions?
The spy and assault ships worked fine for the fourth planet, but wont work for the fifth and sixth in the same system???????????

Are the planets green? If so, you must click colonize nearby planet instead of capture nearby planet. If they are blue, that means they are your planets. Try docking on blue planets.
