Yes...so I've read in a bit of the "Thank God For Atheists" thread, and I don't feel like postiong to bring it to the top. So I decided to make an intelectual topic that does not involve my "bad grammer" and I.

So....my philosophy:

First off, I study philosophy from time to time. Along with this, I read tales from "Edgar Allan Poe," "William Shakespeare," and anything that has to do with the pineal gland and telekenetics/hypnotism....(don't ask. I've seen it in action...)

I'm not too sure about my philosophy. I DO believe in God, but I don't follow any specific religion (I use to be Christian, but I realized that they tend to persecute people who are not christians AND they even took a fling at me when I began the study of other religions that undermine Christianity and are thought of as "evil" (witchcraft...occult....atheism...new age theory...etc...).

I eventually became tired of the madness, so I kirked at the pastor. He apologized, but I have yet to firgive him because he, of all people, should be accepting of the beliefs and interests of others.

Anyway.....

I'm still looking. I like actual proof of things rather than believing in things that I have not seen myself...

NOTE:TO ALL CHRISTIANS: Magick...many christians say that it's evil...bit I can argue this...
Miracle-Gods direct intervention into a situation for the better.
Magick-The change of ones environment caused by a person...one that involves energy and can't be explained by modern science...curently.

yet people refuse to listen to my argument because they are fearful of change.

well ur general assumption can be thought of as insulting to some christians because ur brandishing us with the same brush as the "old" christians who refuse to accept change and modernisation

heck in church i know a lot of people who are accepted and dress as goths in chruch yet thier part of the church and are treated as equals(i also have a some what gothic dress sense now and again) a large number of people in my church are ex drug addicts yet they are accepted

The church I go to actually has classes teaching about other religions. It is unbiased, they dont try to make the religions come across as "evil" or otherwise. They just present information.

There are churches and people who are accepting of others...many who are christians...

Just not in my immediate area...and I can't move out yet to explore the world.

So I'll have to make do with what I can get until I'm 18...

And I shouldn't make general assumptions...though my basic thoughts are:

all religions have some kind of truth in them....but once a religion gets that small piece of truth, it takes it as the entire truth and picks off everyone that doesn't believe the same as it...

But thats my thought.

-I have yet to see the world from the District Of Columbia...
-I want to move to London when I'm 18 for college to see the world from a better perspective. I hear that London is pretty good, and the crime rate is low (and they have parkour)...

so...I guess i'll have to wait.

swansea would be the best i know of for a christian church its the best chruch ive been to in my 19 years of being alive and my parents used to have to drag me to church then i found the church i goto now and my parents cant keep me away i even moved out of swansea and still go there
