Meh, I've certainly got to credit Infatagable's apparent intelligence and bravery (I know I wouldn't be able to argue with somebody with as many posts as SS as a newb ;P). My personal feelings about a reset are that it simply covers up an unscalable design. I may simply be weird in wanting it to be nice and scalable, but I'd personally rather focus on redesigning the game to make a reset unnecessary than creating a periodic reset. Also, one of the strengths of SkyLords as an online game is that there aren't resets -- you can save up to be powerful. Personally, I'd find a game that regularly wiped out all my progress a tad frustrating to play ;P. (It's one of the things that drew me here to begin with ).

I agree. I prefer games where there are periodic recognitions of success, like we have here, but also the ability to build up something of value over time to be spend in conquests or gaining points at a time of the player's choice. A reset removes a degree of flexibility or choice regarding timing of spending resources.

It is clear that a reset would hurt those that built this game.
