... should you choose to accept it ... is to design questions to be asked in a survey of all players early next round regarding interest on various types of resources.

You design the question, and you lobby for the results you feel are best for the game, and make your case to the best of your ability to the SL community. I will review the questions to make sure they are not unfairly biased (in other words, you can not say "are you so much of an idiot you would say this, or are you smart enough to vote the right way";).

But, wording of a question, even if you try to keep it unbiased, can matter. Both of you have strong, although possibly different, views on this issue.

Don't worry about the points issue. That was mixed enough in votes that I can decide the outcome as a matter of personal preference and judgement, and since I think we should drop points for resources, that will happen in April.

Just focus on the interest question. And, I will make another offer, which is, if a majority of players vote for changes in interest to take effect mid-round, I would even be willing to make this a mid-round adjustment if there is a vote for change and a vote to have the change take effect mid-round.

However, although I will permit you to lobby for changes you feel are needed, and will even permit you to word the questions in ways that might favor your preferred outcome, I will not make changes which have strong votes against them among the general player community. Thus, any changes need to be "sold" to our community, and not forced.

There are a few exceptions and a few changes I will force. The market was one of these. The warp was another. But, in general, I try to sell new ideas to the community and get feedback from players as to whether these proposed changes are acceptable rather than just forcing whatever changes I want onto the game community.

LOL - Is this mission REALLY impossible, or can they do it? Only the SL community can say for sure.

Tune in next week, same Bat time, same Bat channel.

i think if we do remove interest for troops/energy we should be allowed to load 16mill troops/energy onto our hws again

hm... I think I'll quote a film on this one :

"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cares"

basically it's just fine with 15 mil res in total, it doesn't really make THAT much of a difference (especially when you have 4+ HWs)

and YES the percentage SHOULD be removed (or, at least, halved). That survey was kinda strange cause everyone I talk to they say they voted no or half the interest on def res :S

I think we should not divide the question into many parts as all of them are connected and everyone can think about different models and when voting for many parts, we can get unpredictabe and results which not satisfying anyone (as we saw in last survey).

Of course I'd like to represent my own model of changes.

So the survey would look like:

Proposed change: lower interest for troops to 0.1% daily, leave interest for other res 1% daily. (prognosed effect: low interest on troops will limit troops to the amount which is produced on planets and induce using troops for attacks as interest growth rate will be too low to keep them. In other side, even big attacks and usig of many troops won't make number of HWs lower as energy will keep growing because of interest - means we can attack a lot, but number of targets won't go low )

Possible answers:
1. Make this change
2. Leave as it is now.

Filas that is why we proposed dropping the level of interest for E and upping the interest rate for nondef..... hence people will want to attack more..... but HWs wont go extinct because youll still get interest on your E..... obviously the currrent system isnt working so leaving it isnt an option.....

and I dunno what rates youre proposing but if uyou looked around the most supported change is....

0 interest on T.... 0.5 on E..... 1-2 % on non def....
:P..... 1-2 will have to be a double question where the players choose which level they want for nondef....

though the original proposition was 2%..... but you didnt seem to like that much.... though I belive 2% would cause much activity in the gme....... at least for the couple rounds when the masses of HW will fall and then you can return it to 1% when the attacking stops a bit and things return to normal....

B)......

"but HWs wont go extinct because youll still get interest on your E..... "

Yes, defence will be growing, but attack will not, and, as professor told, there will be no points for keeping res, so interest for energy will help players to defend while small interest on troops (or no interest if you prefer - as I offered 0.1% for troops just to make ability to have more than 15mln on planet) will encourage to use troops for attacks - especially that there will be the only way to get reasonable amounts of points. You can grow a lot of energy but it won't give you many points :)

The only bad thing is way too strong shields...
