I play that game a little every now and then...used to have a good account going before the public version....I went on vacation during the transfer and my account got raped while I was away. Just now got some money flow going again.

You guys are depraved souls in the MMORPG department.

I, on the other hand, have had much experiences with good MMORPG's And a few I would suggest for you are Knight Online and Anarchy Online. Both free, and both with GOOD 3D graphics and utilizing class systems. Anarchy Online is my preference, but some don't like the Sci-Fi atmosphere (Though I don't see the problem with having a Bureaucrat running around downtown mowing over the armies with his trusty shotgun)

Knight Online is the cheap version of Anarchy Online. Anarchy has a total of 12 classes I believe, though 2 require expansions (expansions require monthly fees for access). In addition, it has a mission/quest system that is very extensive, and for the most part containing infinite numbers of missions...meaning infinite numbers of times you can reap rewards from them (such as equips, and money, and reputation points on a side...two main sides in the game with a neutral side as well) not to mention the game world is HUGE! and the only way to get around in a timely manner is to use the teleporters in the cities (don't worry, they're free ).

If you can lower your standards a bit, Tibia is another fun one and recently had a major update to its gameplay (similar in magnitude to what happened here) and you may be able to get in on it while it's still fresh. The biggerst problem with Tibia is that hackers run amuck through the 56 different servers, and only about 10 servers are regularly monitored by Gamemasters, Administrators, and Moderators. Fun, nonetheless, but me and a friend who had played Tibia since February decided to leave the game after he was hacked at level 38, they killed his guy and robbed him, and he was down to level 36 after that (upon death you lose 10% of all experience in all categories, as well as a 10% chance for losing each piece of your equipment).

My recommendation, is Anarchy Online, followed by Tibia, then Knight Online. Knight Online is decent, but lacks ANY structure. There is no real story line, no purpose given to you, you're just plopped down in the middle of a city, and you can either be one side or the other...each has their own map it uses and never interact with each other after the newb island, except in the occassional wars in a designated area. All three I would rate, 1-10, as follows...

Anarchy Online: 8.6
Knight Online: 6
Tibia: 7.8

That's with 10 being a game like Starcraft, Final Fantasy, or Halo in quality, and 1 similar to the game Mr. Mosquito for the PS2.
