call of duty 2 rocks with battlefield 2 very close behind(both games rule)

AoE III does rock and i've just bought it lol and Warcraft Frozen Throne is funny aswel as being pretty good

the best strategy game i have played is got to be Rome Total War and shogun total war and medival total war

best strategy game is AOE, best shooter is CS

BF2 is amazing once the game loads lol
Takes 5 mins to join a server some times!

As for best shooters
I love Halo online siply for its arcadeness since vehicles are invisible and its alot of fun to play
The realism of Americas Army is quite astounding where medics dont heal they just stop bleeding which can in itself kill you if you get shot enough.
Im not so good at CS but its still fun lol
Im not such a fan of WW2 shooters and stuff, its a pretty overworked genre

Lets not forget Rome TW, or Planetside when i had that free trial

How could i forget Rome Total War,.

My only problem with that brilliant game is the bias towards Rome, and in the later Barbarian invasion, the bias towards The Barbarians, Saying that however there are Many fawls in the games coding, many that make the game tedious at times, saying that its still Brilliant

AoE 3, the only bad point i have about it is the taking away of the units stances, oh that and the over done ships, but thats not that bad

Side note, I think Medieval total war was better than Rome in balance, and if you think about it, in that game you had 6 different campaigns (Starting Ages and victory type), Rome is Conquest or nothing, which is dissappointing to say the least, Also in that game, like Egypt I suppose, is the fact that unless you somehow destoryed most of the empires of Europe VERY quickly, one would emerge and fight hard against you, (I liked the Byzantians, Egypt and me had many 10 stack battles)
