points per member = clan points/x,
where x is number of players contributed for getting clan points.

means at the beginning of the round x is 0. When player gets points for the clan, x should change +1. When other player gets points for clan, x changes +1, and at the end of round we have x, which is real number of contributed players.
Of course, it would be easier to program if players won't leave and rejoin clan, but it should be possible to overcome this problem. The main problem is not to get additional +1 to x after kiesha leaves and rejoins the clan and gets points. I think the way to do this would be just to leave player on clan list until the end of the round if he contributed to clan points, even if he left clan or was kicked. Such way some players can be on lists of several clans, but I think it is not a problem

It would be easy to do what Chaos (oops - edited - I meant VS - sorry) suggested. When you are a member of a clan and earn points while being a member, the clan gets points. When you are not a member of the clan, the clan does not get points you earn. So, if you leave and rejoin five times, only the points you earned while you were in the clan would be counted in clan points.

OOPS! Sorry. It was VS that suggested the policy that I attributed to Chaos.

Both are Lith players who are nice but opinionated and who are not part of LTC. However, VS probably speaks Lith with a slight German accent now!

Anyway, the idea of only earning points for the clan while you are a member of the clan turns out to be VERY easy to program (just comment out a few lines of code), so it is extremely simple for a computer to do this. Of course, we could not and would not do this for the past or for prior total points awarded to clans, but it would be easy to do this from December round onward.

I think Bielka worried about points per member (as this really can have some problems to program)

when player joins is easy just +1 to number of members, but when player rejoins, we should not have +1, so this requires to have a list of former members of clan for every clan and delete this list at the end of the round (I don't know much about programming - maybe it's really easy to do).

What if clan has 50 players moving thru it per round? And eveyrone would contribute some points... Like 1? Points per member would be super low...
