I am sure the Americans appreciate that!

Then again, not sure the Americans appreciate much that Europeans do. Of course, saying that Brits are Europeans might also be a slight bit of a stretch as well. Not sure the French would agree. Then again, not sure the French agree with much of anything, even with each other.

Well, I will annoy the heck out of Neggy and a few ultra conservatives in the game, but I tend to agree with your teachers. Of course, Bush is not well liked in China or Asia in general, so my views also have something to do with the environment in which I live as well.

My concern also is that capitalism is good, but without some tempering of the needs of many who are less fortunate, capitalism without compassion can be a very harsh and unkind form of government. Socialism has serious problems as well, especially with incentives and motivation, so there are no easy answers, but those who would lead you to believe that all problems can be solved by using a big gun (or assault) may not be understanding the complexity of social issues.

Proff not sure that Smart fox would agree with you. If you kill someone they are dead and their opinion doesn't matter at that point.

Bashar - that's what I'm trying to do. As I lost almost all my old res with that bank HW in june, all I have now is only gathering of last 4 months minus stuff I used for capturing planets and getting points for this time. So I don't have big enough gun to win against someone who was gathering longer and haven't used their stuff earlier. So the only possibility for me to win is to be very active (not sure if I can be active enough, because of lack time for SL).
By now I crashed 14 trained assaults and have 340k points - means only 60% of my points are from crashing assaults. I'm one of the leaders in probing and capturing of planets - this let me to get quite a lot of points without loosing ships, but takes a lot of time. I hope to get 100k-200k points more with not using trained assaults and then, if I'll be lucky, I'll have chance to win by using my last trained assaults.

I also wish I had time to play more. I might have to go to Sri Lanka again on a business trip, and it is hard to log in from there. Have to use an internet cafe until we get the factory set up with a satelite internet connection so I can play games from the office. Oh yeah, and so the company can use email and other important internet based services, not just for games only.

Sure. I am a professor. I do not have to work specific hours or days, and as long as my teaching and research get done, I have a lot of flexibility regarding time.

Flights to Sri Lanka were full until Monday, by the way, so I have a week more time to play for now. As for work, it is hard to log in while consulting, as clients do not have much interest in paying me for my time and experience while I am playing games. Thus, at the University office, playing a game is not a problem, but at my client's offices, it is not so easy to do.
