lol... anyway, i think renting the researches is a little messed up... maybe we should have a purchase cost and then perhaps a lower research maintenence cost.

I would more agree to mothly fee, then paying everytime for each research or planet.
Let's say everyone has to pay monthly fee $2, but everyone... but you have then everything.

It would give players equal power but hen it would be a paid game and MAAAANY players won't pay and will just quit the game so leave it 4 free :]
