Just wondering if any one can help out with some info. My father who lives in the UK has been diagnosed with Celiacs disease and as a result is restricted to a gluten free diet. He has always loved bread and now the only bread he can eat is the prescription crap they send him via post that tastes like total crap. I am trying to find decent bread that can be bought or made, that he can eat. Is anyone able to help out on this one, and does the cornbread that you guys in the US eat contain gluten?

I really appreciate any help you can give.

* 2 cups corn meal
* 1/3 cup melted shortening

Lactose-Free Rye-Style Bread
Many customers have asked us for a lactose -free rye-style bread mix. We realized we could make one just by adding the critical ingredients to our Tapioca Bread. The addition of molasses and honey keeps this bread moist for several days.

1 bag GFP Tapioca Bread Mix (#31)
2 tsp. freshly grated orange peel
1 Tbs. caraway seeds
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups plus 2 Tbs. warm water
2 Tbs. molasses
2 Tbs. honey
4 Tbs. vegetable oil
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 packet of yeast (2 1/4 tsp.)
