i knwo this is probably a raelly newbish question but how do you build a ship that can us hyper space? i have take the whole planet system im in and i need a way to get to anouther system. i have setn this queastion to several members who voluntired to help newbs but it has been almost a week and im still waitign for any sort of reply.

Design a ship with a hyderdrive engine, this can be any ship EXCEPT an assault ship or a fighter.

firstly, this should be in Newb forum.
But hey - any port in a storm, eh?
So if you want to build an assault with hyper drive - you can't. That simple. Assaults only use intergalactic drive. Transports, spys, probes and invisile ships all can have hyperdrive, but not fighters or assaults.
