Guys, the airport's security in the us sucked. You had to be able to outsmart the lowest bidders hired helpers. I work at one of the major airports in the US and we used to be able to walk through the metal detectors with lettermans and pocket knives with out any fuss.
And before 9-11 would anyone have thought that their plane if hijacked was going to be flown into a building or was it more likely they were going to be ransomed in some prisoner exchange if they didn't rock the boat. It wouldn't have taken a government conspiracy to cause 9-11 all it took were enough people to overcome a couple half empty plane of pacafistic Americans.
About the pentagon I don't know but the other planes left from their airports and were passed off to ATC so I can say for sure that unless the pilots and maitenence and ground crews who have to check the planes before departure didn't see the "POD" that was supposedly on the plane then they don't need to be in the general population. It would be like not seeing an innertube duct taped to the hood of your car. And for the "no Windows" that was also discussed, didn't anyone ever consider the sunshields? When they are down then the windows seem to disappear because they generally are the same color as the exterior paint. You only notice the windows because the interior of the plane is darker than the outside so you see a gaping black whole for the window. With the sunshield down the light reflects back so you don't see windows. you can see this at any airport at sunrise/sunset fron 50-100 yrds away.
Any way just my two cents, it raise did raise a couple of good points but most of it is just another spin on the "Big Lie" technique.

The sun is shining on the upper most part of this 767 (the same as the 2nd plane to hit the WTC) and making the wing mounting and undercarriage housing much more pronounced than on the lower side if the plane, could this possibly be the "pod" that is seen in the 9/11 footage?

Unless they somehow swithched planes there is absolutely no chance that the pod exists anywhere but in the realm of fancy or bad photography. We have three seperate groups that visaully inspect each plane for small leaks and dings and scratches. It would have had to go unnoticed by the Ground crew, pilots, and Maintence. There is no way that an Attached Pod could not have caused stares from everyone on the ground that it passed. And if for some reason it did you would have had to spend time drilling and either riviting/bolting it into the plane's frame just so that it would take the force of drag at 500 mph. Here's in plain sight is our options. 1: everyone at the airport is blind. 2: they switched planes in mid air without causeing a new blib for the "new" 767 and simotaniously got rid of the old 767 blip and made the aircraft and crew/ passengers completely disappear. without causing problems at websites like "the trip.com" with live flight tracking. or 3: some radicals got past our shoddy security killed the flt attendants forced the pilots out of their chairs or killed them and flew the planes into the buildings.

The switch IS actually possible Rob, very difficult to achieve but it could be done, especially when you consider that the planes that struck the WTC had their transponders turned off.

The switch would be next to impossible. Just imagine how big the radar crossection of a 767 would have. how could you hide a commercial 767 from the radar from Air traffic control and switch it with a second 767. Once they are in the air and being tracked unless you are hiding in a ufo to pick it up, something that size sticks out like a sore thumb. Even if you destroyed the aircraft at the exact time that the new 767 is supposed to be tracked, or handed off from local control to regional atc, you would still get a chaff effect from the raining pieces of aluminum that are the size of small planes.

I only said it is possible, I didn't say it was easy (in fact I did say it would be very hard to achieve), you only need watch the interviews with the ATCs on duty that day to understand that it could be done. They had several aircraft around the Boston area with no transponder IDs, but it WAS common practise to virtually ignore this and assume that the aircraft on the scope was the one they were talking to.

Plus it is afterall the USAF who developed stealth technology.

I'm not saying the planes were switched, I find that unlikely, just that it was not beyond the capabilities of modern technology (or it's falibilities) for it to be done.

I've seen recent evidence that has made me think (unfortunately it was a text provided by a teacher so I can't give you the source of my research). I know believe that ALL of 9/11 was a conspiracy. What is more important to a government, the lives of 4000 people or the security of it's empire for at least 100 years. What did the USA want most out of the middle east? OIL. What do they now have coming out of Iraq and Afganistan for free? OIL
