I just launch my assault. Can't stand watching how newbies insist something at all. We have to help them, but they can't insist something. They must show us they deserve a place here. I answer every question i get myself, but i killed and will be killing newbies whether they are active or not. What would be the fun to make a lodgement here if you had nothing to worry about! Newbies who are really interested in the game read forums and find help. Others will die. Don't see a problem here. While the problem with interest and the fact that a person is motivated to create as many hws as he can to gain max profit is what really hurting newbies.

I had 2 start over twice myself. The first time in Dec. Cajin took me in and asked me to move my dinky HW to his system and join his clan for training. Couple days later I was gone. I restarted and on Jan 1st I was defeated. Its the way it goes. The 3rd time I was placed with chains everywhere and got 25 planets quickly. The birth of Maaak2 begins and then finds SI!

i got here, i had to deal with losing almost every single planet i had early on, and i started with 3, it can be done, its not that hard

Last night Ignatius had a HW of 2 mln deff (shields down) and 6 production planets with 250k deff each (all chained). I wanted to attack him but CiDG told me to give the guy a chance (48 hours). So i did.

This morning Ignatius HW was taken by one of the posters in this thread. Not that i want to blame him or anything, after all i am sure that he had a hard time surviving when he was new to the game too.

When i logged one i got really mad. Why in the name of heaven cant i, a newb, take a small HW when the vets seem to have no problem with it.

So i took some of Ignatiuses PP's. And i will gladly give them back if he decides to stay, i will even help the dude with whatever i have.

No one gave me a break when i started, i had one planet left the first week in the real arena, and most were taken by vets.

There are quite a few problems with the game, one of which bothers me particularely is the fact that "Attacking" is not very profitable, which discurages a lot of people. Right now "Morale" has no effect whatsoever, so you could have morale increase appropriately when attacking different size planets. And morale would increase attacking strength (the more of it you have the better your assaults and troops).

Or you could even go further and reward attacking players with increased production.

Second is the probing issue, i dont know if you realise but half the new people in this game quit because they cant find any planets. I dont know how but this needs to be fixed somehow too. Perhaps have the game send a new player a set of SP confed coords near to him as soon as he enters the real arena (until he actualy starts talking to people and figures out the game)
