Maybe you should just give up Skylark, let us play our way (proven to work for the past 2 years), and you play yours. I will add this though, and I'm sure it's been said to you many times already: your style of playing will get you killed much faster than mine will, you try to defend everything you have while I just defend what I really need to keep while I don't care as much about the other planets. Production planets aren't in short supply, their purpose is to produce until they are taken, at which point they become useless to me and I move on. If you just defend every planet you have, you will be stretched thin and make yourself an [u]easier[u] target, not a harder one.

Skylark, please explain what I'm not understanding. I understand perfectly well the advantages of holding and defending planets. However, I also understand that the advantages of centralizing my defenses are far greater, as it makes me much harder to eliminate from the game. I would rather remain living with only a few well defended planets than spread out my resources so much that I could be easily defeated. So, please, explain what I'm missing.

or maybe you just don't need to attack at all. i know i have gone whole rounds without attacking a single planet. but then im unusual in SL, cuz im a hoarder and seller. and a wallflower of sorts

but anyways. yes you can play your way, HOWEVER by playing your way you MUST have a large quantity of defensive recources, which you do not at this moment. Probably the only person who does is Professor, and even he has trouble defending everything he has. Just the other day he had to stop defending a planet because it would have made to much of a risk to keep defending it. SO when you do get more def rec than professor then nobody will have any problems with you playing your way. till then please take the advice of others and follow his sugestions.
