Just spend all my credits (which was not much) on buying more energy. Defense is up to almost 53 milion now, but I have no credits to buy more energy, and can not risk lowering defense on other planets to protect this one. So, defense is falling and the planet is at risk of capture, for the first time in many months. I had never expected it to last this long, but also thought it would be LTC that took me out, not a new player!

No, I am not going to be able to save this planet. I have to let it go. So, most of the remaining defenses have been moved off planet to other worlds with turrets that can better protect the remaining resources from loss. The combined forces of Filas and ROS2 have weakened the planet enough that a strategic retreat is necessary.

Defense on Lady's Tea Club is now less than 20 million. It is an open target, and able to be taken. I will keep some forces on the planet so that it is not simply a surrender, and if it survives until next round, I will be able to buy 5000 credits to restock my defenses. But, for now, it is a weak shell of its former strength. I do not have the resources to spare to save it.

I have 48 other planets to defend. I will not weaken defense on other planets to hold one that is without turrets and that is being bombarded. There is no clear limit to how many assaults could hit that planet, and I could be weakened more than it is worth to hold that planet if I keep fighting everyone there. If I can hold it until the new round, I can defend it, but I don't want to be weak in other areas just to keep one planet that is under continual attack.

Yeah, I could shift some resources, but then again, I also might be able to come back in July and retake this planet (probably will go light on attacking during June to build up forces again).

I might even decided to give up some other planet to keep this one, but right now, without the ability to get turrets rebuilt, this is too profitable a target for other players, and I must retreat.

Humm. Maybe I can keep it after all. ROS was the major attacker, and I just read his post again and he is out of troops. Humm. I can probably spare at least 3 million energy. So, defense will be up again, a bit. With moving 3 million energy there, from Neggy's system, I will have a bit over 4 million energy total on planet, or about 20 million defense. Not that hard to go through, but not trivial either, and not that much to lose if I do lose the planet.
