LOL - Yes. Then again, SmartFox has gone fairly inactive for the past few rounds, and I have not been inactive. I also was criticised, earlier, for not attacking enough. Now, I am attacking more than I had been, which annoys some people.

criticizm was for growing billions of res as interest using cash bought resources - the main reason which let professor to get 5mln points is interest, as it increased all his wealth (which was not small beacause of year of gathering plus good possibilities to trade due to a lot of bought credits) about 2.5-3 times. I'm sure professor has enough res for another 5 mln points now...

well, I've lost because of that - at the time interest was introduced, I had almost nothing - to be more precise it was around 5mln T and 400 credits on 7th of january, so I had no chances to compete to professor and many of other players who were getting more than I can gather from my 50 planets using only interest. Of course, I used these 4 months to increase my wealth and now I can compete for top positions, but even now I have less than professor (and maybe some other players like Bert) got just from interest.

Yeah But to be fair I have always stated that I wanted to do was be a banker and build so its not big deal with me as it may be for an attacker. My strat hasn't had to dramatically change since I haven't even tried to compete with anyone. The only intrest I drew was from what I had. I almost exclusively ship bank for my guys. That way I do not need to keep track of what they have and only need to do anything when they need another ship dropped off.

I started with what I had from when everything came off of my origional 2 hw's that I built up the hard way. Others were way ahead of me but spent all of their resources bashing down hw's, training, and Attacking. Only reason that I have alot now is because I do not spend anything and I trade off my excess whenever I get excess. Everyone could do this, it would be a boring game, but, It has worked well for me and I have a couple of HW's and a huge fleet of transports. I do not think that anyone in game considers me a threat or fears for their HW planets because I'll come knocking

I know we have bashed heads occasionaly on game play and direction but we both seek a balance to the game and to have it be the best that it can be. We just but heads because sometime our paths are a little different in getting there.

And Dogg.... yes I do if I felt the need to be # 1, I probably could be for a while all I'd be lacking is a little iron, I'm prob close to the proff in def resources, Now that I think of that with his attacking maybe Im in the lead now.... Kinda curious to think of it ..... Maybe I'll have to ask him ...

well, if you had 3-4 HWs build during long time, you'd have now 5 if not interest. Interest magnified your 4 HWs to 12. Everything depend on how much res everyone had when interest started as it let to increase these res about 3 time in 4 months. Normally in 4 months depending on activity you can gather 1-4 HWs
So if someone had 0 like me, now I have around 6 full HWs (4 got by gathering and 2 because of interest).
if someone had 1 HW, he has 3 plus what he gathered so average gatherer should get around 4-5 HWs
if someone had 2 HWs, now he should have 7-8
the one had 3 - can have 10-11
the one had 4 - can have 13-14 and so on.
Of course these numbers are for these who not spent much for attacking.
